Peaks Island Lions Club

Peaks Island, ME 04108
Our ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour with passed h'ors d'oeuvres and lawn games, then a family style dinner in the playhouse and hella dancing 'til they shut us down.
Details on an after party TBA.
PS: we're keeping this shindig 21+ so y'all can leave the kids at home and let your hair down!
By the way, You must be on the Casco Bay Lines Ferry to Peaks Island that departs at 4:30PM or you will miss the ceremony and be mocked mercileSsly for the Entire night and the rest of your relationship with the couple.
you may also come over earlier (for instance on the 2:15PM or 3:15PM ferry) to explore the island, relax, eat ice cream, and make sure you don't literally miss the boat!
We encourage everyone to arrive 30 minutes before your intended ferry departure at casco bay lines because the ferries to peaks island will be very popular.

Are you going to get into town a little early?
if you are getting into portland on friday (or even sooner!) then swing by for a fun night of Lite bites, strong drinks and smores at Casa McCallum the night before the real festivities. Also the only way we could satisfy jacob's demand for a taco bar.
**However, If you are wanting a lobster at any point during your stay in maine, this is your chance to go and get it! Because of severe food allergies in the wedding party we will not be serving any crustacean shellfish over the course of the wedding weekend so that - you know - nobody dies. Here's a list of a few spots if you're looking for the quintessential Maine culinary experience to top off an awesome time in the 207:
FOR A WHOLE LOBSTER WITH A HOLY SHIT VIIEW: Lobster Shack at Two Lights. Ridiculous that it hasn't been washed away in a hurricane, since it's just feet from a rocky shore between a pair of lighthouses, this BYOB 207 Staple is an absolute must.
FOR A LOBSTER ROLL ON THE GO: Bite Into Maine Food Truck. It's usually parked at Fort Williams (one of Jacob and Justin's favorite spots) and Portland Headlight, this is a favorite of many Portland natives. it's setting up a brick and mortar soon!
FOR A CLASSIC TOURIST TRAP: Dimillo's on the Water. It's a little overpriced and a little cheesy, but where else do you get to eat a lobster on a floating restaurant?
FOR A TWIST ON THE CLASSIC: Eventide. want a cool take on the 207 classic? they make a brown butter lobster roll. it's tasty, but not for everybody.
While you're in town...
Check out some of these favorite spots of jacob and justin to make a full weekend of fun!
Fort williams and portland headlight
A 19th Century Fort that is now a sprawling park, it boasts some of the greatest views and walks in the Greater Portland Area. Jacob is a huge fan of the tide pools that form along the cliffs next to the rocky beach. Also check out what is supposedly the most photographed lighthouse in the world.
Old orchard beach and palace playland
With miles of white sand beach, a pier with endless fried food, a somewhat rickety amusement park that Justin claims to have nearly died on as a child but still goes on, pirate-themed mini golf, carnival games, and the damn best french fries you'll ever eat (with vinegar, not ketchup), this place is literally pure Americana -- including lots of Canadian tourists.
bissell brothers brewing company
If they held events, we'd be having our wedding here. A super chill local brewery with fun art, great beers (not just hipster IPA's), and cool shops surrounding it at Thompson's Point. They even allow dogs in the tasting room! How cool is that!
